Digitus Biometrics is first and foremost an engineering and design firm. The company was founded on ground-breaking biometric fingerprint recognition and encryption technologies with a single purpose: To create the most secure access control solutions possible.

Years of continuous development and feature/function improvements have led to what is today the industry’s most complete set of biometric access control solutions, capable of securing entire enterprises from the front doors of multiple buildings to the doors of individual cabinet doors, all on a unified platform that delivers an indisputable audit trail covering every protected access point.

Chris Marsden
Chief Technology Officer

Christopher Marsden, CTO and founder, is a native of the United Kingdom where he began his working career as the manager of a group of computer technicians and consultants that provided IT services to a commercial facilities. In 1998 he co-founded an IT systems integration business serving international clients. During this time, Chris began developing an encryption system that uses finger template information as the encryption keys. His inventions were transferred to the newly formed Digitus in 2005, and Chris has since then led all design and development for Digitus.

David Orischak
Chief Executive Officer

David Orischak, CEO and senior VP, sales & marketing, has thirty years’ experience in corporate and entrepreneurial technology business. Prior to joining Digitus, Dave was a partner at Penn Valley Group, a Philadelphia based business advisory firm, where he provided transactional and advisory services to mid-market companies. Earlier efforts included co-founding PC Concepts, a training and software development company purchased by Ziff-Davis in 1991, and eight years in sales and marketing positions
at IBM.
