You may be concerned that your employees won't be comfortable with using biometric security devices in your office. However, you may be surprised to learn that some of them could already be embracing biometrics in their daily lives.

For example, new biometric technology is now being used to help find runaway dogs, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

The new app, called Finding Rover, lets animal shelters submit photos of their canine inmates to an online database. Each picture is then subjected to biometric software, which measures eight facial markers that are distinctive to each dog, including eye size and their position to the snout.

Owners of missing dogs can then cross-reference pics of their MIA best friends with the database to see if there's a match.

As biometric advances like this one continue to arise, you’ll likely find your employees are more comfortable biometric security than you may have once thought.
